Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Fig Social, LLC (“Fig”, “we”). By using the Fig app or this website you agree to them.

1. Adults only

You must be 18 or over to use Fig. By using it, you confirm you are.

2. Your account

Keep your safeword to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens on your account. We can’t recover a forgotten safeword; you can always start over.

3. Be decent

Don’t:

• pretend to be someone else, or use someone else’s account;
• invite or contact people who don’t want to hear from you, or harass anyone;
• post anything illegal, or anything involving a minor in any way;
• share another person’s Persona, screenshots or private details without their consent;
• try to break, reverse-engineer, overload or get around the security of Fig.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

4. Consent comes first

Fig helps you talk about what you’re into. It isn’t permission for anything. Anything you do with anyone, online or off, needs their clear, ongoing consent, and they can always say no.

5. What you put in

You keep ownership of what you add (your display name, the Persona you show). You give us permission to store and show it to the people you choose, only so we can run Fig.

6. Fig+

Fig+ is free at launch. If we start charging for it, it will be sold through Apple, Apple’s terms will cover billing, renewal and refunds, and we’ll tell you before anything costs money.

7. Not advice

Fig is entertainment and a way to start conversations. It isn’t medical, psychological, sexual-health or relationship advice.

8. No guarantees

We work hard to keep Fig running and secure, but we provide it “as is”, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, Fig Social, LLC isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We can end or suspend access if you break these terms or if we have to by law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is meaningful. If you keep using Fig, you accept the new terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA.
